Bio:

I am a PhD Candidate in the Department of Economics at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. I am currently working as a research assistant at the Telecommunications and Social Informatics Program (TASI) / Pacific Health Informatics Data Center (PHIDC). I am also a part-time lecturer teaching classes in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and data science at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. My research interests currently lie in health economics, applied econometrics, public health and health policy.

I will be available for interviews for the job market during the 2022-2023 academic year. My job market paper introduces a new approach that combines techniques in machine learning and econometrics to measure the impact of the ACA Medicaid expansion on health insurance outcomes for low-income childless adults.
